My work « Ishtar » was inspired by the ancient Babylonian goddess of war and love of the same name. During the creation of this work, I was inspired by the idea of war in love and of love in war accomplished in a woman’s personality. The musical fabric is built on contrasts between aggressive rhythms and smooth melodies; it represents the union of the opposing sides.

My work « Tistu » was inspired by my favorite tale of Maurice Druon. This story is about a little boy named Titsu whose fingers are magic. With a single movement of his hands he is able to raise flowers and plants, which had existed before only in his imagination. I tried to describe this process of floral growth and emergence through the medium of music. The coda of the work…
